Hey guys very new to confrontation, have been picking up some daikinee elves. Just got started painting them. These models seem to be a painter's dream, really lovely to work on. I'm waiting on the various flocks I want to start basing, also need to figure out what bases I'm going to use, don't think I'll be able to get all original models so may have to use gw bases rather than the originals. Or I guess could try to make my own out of some 4mm mdf using the router. I prefer the gw ones as the basing surface is a bit larger too. I wish I'd gotten in to confrontation sooner, would have made getting things much easier! In terms of colour scheme I'm sort of making it up as I go along, will stay fairly close to the rackham scheme as they're great. I figure as long the palette is fairly homogeneous it should be ok as I imagine Daikinee being slightly rag tag and not very uniform. Here's the first archer done.

New to confrontation, but certainly not new to painting minatures. Wow this archer looks amazing.
In my opinion confrontation Miniatures, belong on the rectangular bases of rackham. Perhaps you can recast them.
