On the equipment chart for Incantation: les Gemes there is an entry 'PRO' which I'm not clear on and it's not explained in the notes below. Any thoughts on what 'PRO' is? It varies between gem types. EDIT: Okay, I re-discovered what 'PRO' (Protection) is... but not sure yet how it applies to gems.
Also, would the general consensus be that magicians would use 'Immortal' gems rather than 'Ephemeral' ones? I can see using Ephemeral ones in a pinch but that anyone really would prefer the 'Immortal' ones. Also, there is mention of the 'Immortal' ones burning out... but I don't see where there are rules for this. Any thoughts?
Edit: I found the bit under the 'Channel' Ability... it's chart that has entries for gems breaking. But that 'Break' seems to be in regards to the magician's link to the gem, formed using Subdue.
I'm re-reading Cadwallon with an eye towards trying to run it again and possibly/eventually convert it to a less opaque system (Magic World). I keep seeing things I hadn't noticed in earlier read throughs.
Thanks, K

Solidity = structure points and structure points = health points (see page 227)
The strength of an attack: STR = (POW)d6 + DAM - PRO (see page 138)
with solidity 5 and PRO up to 8, I think they are hard to destroy. (see page 342)
But I was always interested in the Story of Cadwallon and Confrontation. The rules part especially in Cadwallon is hard to understand.

Back when I first got it we made up some PCs and ran some combats with it to try to sort out the system. We ran a session of one of the scenarios but then never got back to it... and never did make use of the magic rules. But yeah, I'm mostly interested in the setting... of Cadwallon and Aarklash. But I think there is some subtle aspects of that reflected in the rules that I'd like to understand better. So I'm trying to learn the rules, somewhat.
