Just started off in the realm of frostgrave. Going to use this thread to motivate me to paint models and keep me going in the hobby. First pic is of a set-up for the 2nd scenario in the Dark Alchemy campaign, got to look for a better option then the green felt as i dont get that frostgrave vibe. But I am enjoying that they have an option for solo play.

Different views of the battlefield. My painted watband for the new campaign. Was lucky enough to animate a large construct and summon one animal companion.

That's pretty good stuff! Is this a Battlemap and MDF-Terrain? Do you plan to "frostify" them?

Yeah the board is just a battlemap from PWorkWargames, here is the link below to their site. Just picked up the one called frostgrave. www.pworkwargames.com/it/ As for the terrain most of it is from www.4ground.co.uk and is mdf prepainted. Setting up a game was never this easy back in the day. Not sure if I want to "frost" everything. If I leave it the way it is then I can still use it in games of confrontation.

Started a new game on this amazing board last night. Mixed in some 4ground terrain with a board that my brother built.

Looks like a lot of fun to play on tha t board! Some guys from the local gaming club tried to convince me (at least the Behemoth Orcs already have snow bases), so I might give it a try eventually. But it'll be exciting to hear your opinion and experience about it as well.

Its a fun game and worth a go if you have a group of guys willing to play a campaign. To me it plays like a watered down version of Mordheim, but with common sense fixes to rules. The D20 does make for some interesting moments. For us the game was an easy sell to a few non-gamers in the group as its not super complex. My only knock against the game is with multiple players in a game, the turns tend to take a while. But I want to try experimenting with smaller board sizes to force the action. I would say give it a try but confrontation will always be my number one game, this is a soild second.

Damn, looks like you have the same Photobucket problems a lot of other hobbyists have these days... Good luck with finding another hoster!
