Griffin Conscript cavalry or some sort of mounted knights are one of my wishes. Just seems odd that the Griffins only have mounted Thallions. Yesterday I did wonder whether it would be possible to convert something using Thallion horses and Conscripts but it looks like a lot of work and I'm not chopping up my precious few models.
In fact different cavalry types in general , especially for Ragnarok would have been a great addition to other forces too. Imagine light cavalry for the Lions, perhaps something like mounted Guards or Archers or even Reapers?

They did make Griffin Cavalry! They were produced for the pre painted range, unfortunately.
I really, really wish the Drune Lanyf, and Living Legend boxes were finished, the drawings were great. So close.

It would have been nice to see more of the direction the Daikinee army was going, I mean , elves in beetle armor, an anthropomorphic giant beetle, regen/5 with low RES models. It had an original feel to it, not just elves living in the forest wearing fig leaves.
Every themed force in every army who has a "leader" but no corresponding fig/profile. For Bran-o-Kor orcs the missing leaders are Khelran of the Torches of Gerikan, Menkhari of the Sarkai Nomads and Dakhran of the Vulture's Claws. I realize that proxies are possible, Ghorak the wild beast would be perfect for Khelran and Dayak would work as Dakhran.
There is one drawing of a Cynwall construct with wings, would love to see that.
Dirz desert/monster themed cavalry, I think one model was released by Legacy. Their army's only LL is also their only mounted model and that is some vicious looking horse not the monster like Legacy released.
would really love to know what this "Koraan" fig was from the Lor-an-Kor faction of the TnB dwarves
and finally the Akkyshan elves, if R had some original ideas and sculpts for this army I would love to see them. Their only fig is that four armed ugly chick affiliated with Cadwallon

Everything you guys said, every damn thing... *sigh* My thoughts exactly.
I wished for a Wolfenlady protecting her offspring or something like that. Or Cadwallon Wolfen. Dirz Cavalry. Stuff from the Kaiber Fortress. The Sphinx. Sooo many things, so many dreams... But the Akkyshan are the most missing ones.

Is there any fluff available at all for these? I don't recall reading anything for the Spider Elves, nor Dirz cavalry.

I always wanted a posh Cadwallon wolfen - kinda like the one that the russian mob produced. The Griffin Heavy Cav in metal would have also been awesome!

The ones I would most like to have seen were an actual Griffon for the Griffons, the entire Sphinx range, and more Daikinee models.
Now that it has been mentioned, I'd love to see some Alahan mounted Reapers.

I just imagined some Daikinee Calavry on giant beetles, very similar to the Brontops Riders.

I just imagined some Daikinee Calavry on giant beetles, very similar to the Brontops Riders. Your suggestion gave me the sudden idea of Daikinee elves riding giant crickets. The big hind legs of these crickets give them great jumping qualities that the elves use when charging. They jump and charge, get some cool charge bonuses, kill their target and then jump back out of danger. They could be a cavalry unit with hit and run tactics. someone else mentioned a true griffin model 1- Legacy did make one, but I seriously doubt it was from Rackham's secret vault. This griffin was way too big and out of scale with Confrontation. This model might have been intended for ConfragaRok
2- Legendarion made a GRIFFIN commander riding a armored griffin, closely resembling the artwork from a cover of CryHavoc. I have a lot of admiration for this guy's sculpting abilities but I just feel sick that Legacy/CMON can't get their act together and resurrect C3. There is money to be made. The longer Legacy's lawyers take to settle some secret issue the more desire I have just to order from Legendarion.

But confrontation is a dead game! CMON/Legacy are not going to put out new models, if they were going to then why haven't they. They lost the generated hype from the legacy releases and confrontation has again slipped into the shadows.

I am coming around to agreeing with you dienikes I just look at the number of recasters (past and present) that are on Ebay or set up their own store online and I just feel sadness and anger that Cyanide/Legacy/CMON can't get their act together. They could be sponsoring tournaments or community leagues and they could bring their prices down some too. It feels stupid that I could order from eastern Ukraine and get 2 steam golems plus shipping to Canada for approx. the price of 1 golem from CMON.
I will eventually order from Legendarion, a good C3 collector from Saskatoon told me that he ordered from Legendarion. He said that there was great service, no mixups. My friend is probably the only guy that I know of that has 90% or more of the Rackham line. I am not far from that mark too, thanks to Ebay.
Also, keep checking with these newsletters from librevent site. They will have profiles to go with the new models from Legendarion

I caved a few months before and ordered my first Confrontation recasts from Legendarion. I bought a set of Templar Warstaff that have since been chopped up for conversion.
But the casts were only ok at best. Flash, mouldlines, and strangely placed gates, all par for the course, I think, with recasters.
Nothing spectacular, but I still would think twice before making more orders - it seems like a fair amount of work to get them up to speed to paint.
There's another guy on e-Bay, Gastonfly, who always seems to have a lot of rare stuff. I suspect he is also a recaster, but I do wonder what his stuff is like?
