Another cooperative storytelling boardgame, I like those! Very beautiful and detailed, we played the first three chapters and will start the fourth soon! We also made a minor change to the start items, so that your mice character can keep a better weapon and does not have to start with the beginning weapon. I'm really excited about the rest of the story and the expansion!

So, we played until the fourth chapter - and lost. That means we have to do it again. We also came across some minor flaws with the rules or at least some changes: the start equipment can be changed or instead of increasing in a level some item could be made into start equipment so it isn't lost when a mouse is captured or when a new chapter is played. And here a little picture of this wonderful game. For those of you with kids, give it a try, it is really a great game to play with children.

We played the fourth and fifth chapter. With our homebrew rules it could be too simple, but we have to figure it out, though. Still a lot of fun to play, and the fifth mission was really easy: we had to fight against the cat Brody, usually a really terrifying enemy, but we had the spell to summon him instead of going through all the rooms and eventually fight against him. So we could fight with our conditions, and we where also very lucky, because we defeated him instantly!

Nice! I've been looking at this one on Boardgamegeek but the negative reviews about monotony kept me away. It's good to hear a positive viewpoint!

I can understand why people feel monotony, because the game mechanics are quite simple. But as far as you don't play the whole story during one weekend, it is ok. The different tasks for the missions bring some differentiation as well. And don't forget, it's also a game for children.
We finished the 6th and 7th mission and we really got lucky, because we finished both in quite a short time. But especially the 7th mission can take a looong time because you need to find a special item and draw the rooms by chance - when they are not connectable, you can't enter and maybe have to go underground to another room.
And it still feels a bit like our homebrew rules make the game far too easy, but we'll try it anyway and maybe the expansion set with the original rules.
