I really liked the ideas of the clan boxes (and I still do ), but since there where only five of them, I feel that a lot of damn good potential was wasted. I don't know the reasons why Rackham abandoned the idea, but there are many factions that could use a cool clan with a concept. Just imagine an Acheron clan, or Cynwall (some monastery?), a Daikinee explorer group, a Dirz research lab, ... Maybe we can discuss some ideas here, create background stories, profiles and even find adequate models for the "new clan"?

I would love to see either an Acheron Clan Box, or an Ophidians one. I have some idea of what the Acheron box might contain, sort of like the head of a house, its honour guard, and an advisor of sorts.

I like this idea quite a bit. I don't know if I can do it, but I will try to come up with something for Alahan, Cynwall, Daikinee, and Concord of the Eagle. Alahan and Concord would be my priorities. I've already fiddled around with new profiles for Concord, so that seems like an easier place to start.

Daikine: something like hunting party for runaway females. Maybe even with warrior mage that master darknes?

After writing that post, I understood that warrior-mage MUST be female. Nothing can be as cruel and vengeful toward woman as other woman. And, let’s be honest, all women master darkness. Wolfen is nice idea. I also had idea of "hunting bugs". Something similar to moths (big antennae for catching scents and fly) - maybe smaller versions of mandrigorn with average (grunt) profile?

Yeah, that's great! I've some suggestions for miniatures, mostly from Reaper (heroic 25 mm scale, so it should fit). So maybe with this the idea can get a bit specific. I tried to find some that match the Daikinee style, some do this better than others. Female Mage as leader: Dryad, my personal favourite Mage with sword and staffLascivious magician Another Dryad, ignore the Pokéball, that was added in the pic SorceressPossible Characters: Badass archer with three arrows, Priest, Fighter with bird that can be used as spy like the Alahan Falconers, Ranger, Spearmen on a plant, another Spearmen, female Ranger, female elven Assassin, Archer and Wolfen. Special: Magician from Scibor. While the hairstyle is a bit unusual, the growing out of the weed is nice. Sylph, also for flying support. InsectBeetles and Giant Scarab, Insect Beast, Insect Monster and Mantis WarriorGrunts (all of them can be purchased single as well): With two weapons, Archers, Spearmen, Sword and shield, Double-handed swordEdit: I just had an idea: what if it is a female-only clan? But this is maybe a bit contrary to the background. Your thoughts?

Concord of the eagle would have been a nice clan box. So many different options they could have gone with.

I've definitely got a different way of going about things than you guys. I see you all started with a story and are trying to find miniature to fit, whereas I start with miniatures and try to make a story that fits. The story part is definitely more difficult for me. On the miniatures front, there are a plethora of minis that can be used for the Eagle. I especially like the ones from Crocodile Games and Mierce Miniatures. www.crocodilegames.com/store/itemList.cfm?catID=24&sort=prodIDmierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=cat&cre=dkl-fmr&sou=cat&sty=detI've been looking at all the Goatmen type models available and I think they would be a great starting point for an Eagle clan.

Mierce has also some pretty nice minotaurs and zentaurs which would fit the Concord as well. And thanks for the link to Crocodile games, there I found another possibility for the Mandigorn.

Does anyone have some minis from these lines to see the size difference?

I have minis from both of these lines.
The Mierce Minotaurs fit in very nicely with Confrontation Minotaurs.
The Crocodile minis are almost the exact same dimensions as humans from Confrontation. Probably same width/girth and ~2-3mm shorter.
I'll see if I can take some pictures when I get home tonight to show the scale. Any request for what Confrontation minis to compare them to?

If possible a mix of the models both man sized and monster. But definitely a minotaur! Thanks
