Hey guys, I'm trying to get myself back into the hobby and wouldn't you know it my old lamp has somehow shorted since the last time I used it. Do you guys have any recommendations for floor or desk lamps for mini painting?

I'm using one of these at the moment: linkI was using two of these though: link And replaced the bulbs with daylight ones. I still use these lamps and bulbs for my photo's.

Ooh thanks, a bit rich for my blood at the moment but it looks amazing. The smaller lamps may be a better idea for me for now.

You can get by with one of the smaller lamps but two really help a lot, just remember to replace the bulbs with daylight ones (GU10 halogen I think). The bulbs might seem pricey but they last really well. The first pair of bulbs I bought lasted 3 or 4 years I think.

In have one REALLY old fluoro desk lamp and one cheap angle poise lamp from a stationers. Both have had their globes replaced with good daylight numbers. I also have a small foldable lamp for travelling to painting days and whatnot.
