Finally finished the Selsym warstaff I started almost a year ago now. It feels good to actually complete a group of miniatures, although painting 5 minis with the same color scheme was tedious at times. There's a lot I feel that I could have done better, but I really just wanted them done so I can move on to something else in the "forest of ghosts" I primed last year First the full staff together: The Hero, Musician, and Standard Bearer And finally the Selsyms themselves:

Very cool stuff here. I like the mother-of-pearl-effect on the armour and shields. I've tried it myself but wasn't that successful. The glow in the eyes gives them a certain feeling of living which is pretty nice.

I just got a box of Khidarym the other day and this kind of reckless post of lovely minis makes me want to paint one! I've always been terrified of Cynwall armour - did you follow the tutorial in Cry Havoc?

Oh the Khidarym! I have a bunch of Cynwall primed and ready to paint and was in the same boat as you. The incredibly light glazing, the color combinations and transitions, the deep crevices and difficult to reach places! I'm still too scared to look at the Equanimous warriors =P.
I did use the tutorial! It was good, although vague at certain points, particularly where blending/color were concerned. Seeing their step-by-step pictures helped immensely with the mother-of-pearl effect. It was terrifying, and ended up a bit more green than I wanted, but I feel like I learned a lot through the experience. If you need a copy of the Tutorial let me know!

Ta. I have the mag in question. I've always been keen on a more autumnal colour scheme for my Cynwall (sorta rusty browns & greens)

I could see that looking very cool, very earthy and ancient!

I saw these on the Bushido forum. You've made some ropy old sculpts look really good. I was surprised how well sculpted the faces are on the these and the Temple peasants that I've done. Put the pictures on FaceBook and I reckon it'll try and tag them.

They do seem to get some really detailed faces! I saw Hiro's un-armored head and was shocked that I haven't seen more of it on models!

Wow, those are great! The NMM is astonishing real, and all colours are so brigth and make the parts so easy to distinguish. The glass jar even looks like glass! Great job!

I think they look ace! Mizuchi could look cool with some coloured glazes for shading. Maybe a puprple or green?
