I have been eagerly finding all the info I can, but sadly, very little actual info at this point. Their Facebook page has been updating with models for each of the factions. Odd choices for many. Hopefully we will know more once that Kickstarter is upon us.
I'm very cautious about this project. I want it to succeed, but man, they are being very vague about important details, and the info that is available tends to lead towards assuming the worst.
As long as the detail is decent, and they aren't super fragile, I'll show some interest. But before that, they need to verify this won't be an "all or nothing" purchase. I want to see these factions available individually, and at a reasonable price.
Hey guys, I am just starting so the KS does seem ok to me, Id like something other then plastic and more options other then one big box. But I can't find anything around to buy....seems to be an option for people like me.
I wish I knew about Confrontation back in the day.... I'm sad I missed it

Unfortunately, this is an "all or nothing" option... And further, we'll have to wait until the end of 2019 to finally see the miniatures. But otherwise, the kickstarter was already funded the same evening it started, took them only few hours. Until now, they have already doubled their aims, so we'll see how it goes. Seems that there are still a lot of fans out there.
I'm seeing a lot of red flags with this Kickstarter, but (a) it is being run in a very French manner, i.e. poor communication, and (b) the aim has clearly been stated to be a resurrection of the game itself - I infer that the quality is secondary, or is based on a very harsh cost vs. quality analysis.
As somebody else has pointed out, the amount desired for the Kickstarter doesn't seem to gel with the numbers of miniatures that must be produced, but I am not that detailed, so I cannot say.
I hope that SD do succeed with this Kickstarter, and that they attract lots of new blood, but I'm out, and may have to support Signum instead.
Those are the miniatures from cadwallon.com that have been under the confrontation flag but have been designed by them in that particular style. They look like Confro-style-miniatures, but are not allowed to be called that way.
What Atreju is trying to say, very, very politely, is that Signum is a blatant rip-off of Confrontation, and that they use artists' IP without permission - as an example, if you look at their Rowena, that is based off a concept piece by Poli.
Still, I have to admit that Legendarion is very skilled, and his original concepts are very nice. As much as I hate to admit it, I do like A LOT of his original sculpts, and I am greatly tempted to buy into them - but if I do so, I don't know how much I would hate myself.
