Hi all, as chis' regular Eden opponent, here's what he has to face across the table...
First the Matriarchy (painted early this year).

Then the Convoy (painted throughout 2014)...
There are some ISC too, but I need to take some better photos of those,

Wow those skin tones are excellent. I love the musculature on the dog.

Can't agree more. The skin is really superb. And also the other colours are really bright and shining. Do you have any pictures from games where the two forces are opposed? That'll be cool! The matriarchy-guy with the iron balls looks a bit different though. His upper body is not as bright as the rest of him or the other miniatures. Why is that?

Oooh, a couple of those Convoy guys I haven't had the pleasure of smacking them about yet. It's nice having these arrayed against me across the table. Until they start beating me up...

Here's a sneak peek at what chis might be facing on Friday this week.

haha the torture man is super unsettling! The scars and tatoos are quite well done. My favorite is the objective marker on the left though! I love the scary monster face yield sign!

Another slave is ready for some beat-down of pyromaniac clowns. Scourge-man (with some very shiny balls)

Really outstanding and amazing! Could you please tell how you did the poster in the first picture (Matriarchy) or the rust-effect? I tend to overdo it with rust, and with your models it seems so just the right amount, it feels more natural. Thumbs up!

Scourge man! Love his tatty gym shorts. I remember him coming in an order I made from the Taban store and thinking how terrifyingly breakable the chains look.

The poster/newspaper is just a piece of pewter sheet glued to the base and painted. Simple! For the rust, just paint it on as very thin glazes/controlled washes, building up layers from a reddish brown through to an orangey brown. Don't worry too much about getting a uniform opaque layer as this will give it a bit of texture.
