Thank you. I just imagined the scene... Flesh-Eater: "Hey, Zeiren, pass me the Oregano, this Dwarf has a strong taste!" Zeiren: "I'm all out of Oregano, would some Thyme do it as well?" But it was just green tea and Roiboos-Vanilla, at least this awful stuff was good for something. So yeah, the Devourer smell a bit like vanilla. I used Thyme for the Griffins, though. Hm, does that mean the Griffins flavoured themselves already for the Devourer?

Nice white armor! I'm liking the blue shade!

Thanks. My paint-counsellor (aka girlfriend) suggested, that the Devourer should have some moon-metal armour, ideally with a mother-of-pearl colour. But as this is nearly impossible, with all the rainbow-coloured-oily effect, I decided to go this way, and I'm quite content with it.

Finally, the Ophidians are done and ready to rule! I made swamp bases with tea leaves, tuft, water holes, brush bristles and iceland moss. Warriors Archer Vortiran Asps S'Erum Group So there are just the Behemoth and Alahan left.

Yeah, but the pictures are first in the Corpuscle Pain along thread here. As soon as I finished them all, the pics will be here as well. So far, every Orc but Kolghor (base needs to be done, paintjob is done) and the Mystic (skin, robe, wood, weapon) are done.

The Behemoth are finally done, but they've taken a lot of time. I started them during my parental leave, but when I was back to work, there was literally no time for painting. But now the summer break starts, all reports and gradings are done, so there is time for the family and the miniatures. I really had a lot of respect (and fear) for these miniatures because of the high amount of detail. But after I started doing one thing after the other, it wasn't that bad. Also, the ice-themed bases were a first try for me and I'm very content with them. Kolghor and Mystician Mountaineers Stone Warriors Wind Warriors Crossbow-Archers War-staff Group So there are just the Barhans left! The 10 footmen are almost done, just the armour details have to be finished, the two mounted knights have their base colours.

Wow really cool paint jobs that you show us. Atreju it looks like your painting skills have gone to the sky, judging from your older pictures of painted Confro stuff. Keep up the good work. That convinced me to show my stuff here as well. After the exams should be time to take some pictures, I hope.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, it would be a bit shameful, if there wouldn't be any progression at all after all those years. And I even don't have any of the real old pictures here, yet. But when the Lions of Alahan are finished, I'll put all the other armies in here as well. Or maybe even earlier, we'll see. Good luck with the exams, I'm excited to see some pictures of your troups!

These Behemoths are your best work until date (at least to me). It's true that you've progressed a lot, and surely you will do even further.

Thank you. There are still elements I find very difficult, like eyes, proper blendings and especially metal, but I'm content with it. But now it's really time for the very old pictures, so I'll give you the Wolfen, the very first miniatures I ever painted. Also, this thread should give all of my armies. This is a very long range of time, some has been painted more than 10 years ago, the latest are about 2-3 years old. Isakar and the Lonewolf have been the first I painted, ever. And I got a second Watcher, because it was the first Confrontation miniature I've painted and it should be the last as well, sometime in the far future. Kind of coming full circle, I like that idea. Asgarh The Howling Clan Lonewolf and Guardian of the Runes Wolfen with Crossbow Grave Guardians Hunters Kylliox Irix and Ashan'Tyr Sacred Vestals Onyx and Kassar Predators Warriors Syriak and Ophyr Prowler and Repentant Vestal and Varghar Worg

Seeing this, the improvement is bigger than I thought. Your basing skills have gone a long way too.

Yeah, I know, in the beginning I was quite content with just green flock and some cork rocks. It was also quite hard to come up with a certain base scheme in those days, so a lot of my old miniatures are just plain green flock bases. But I still like them, and I'd never repaint them, because it shows the development and it was how I painted back then. My second army were the Drunes, so these are about 10 years old as well. Prosecutors Brentyr and warstaff Warriors Archers Formor Horned Riders Red Karnaghs

The Mid-Nor were my girlfriend's army at first, but then I took over. Here is quite a range of time, the Incubus was one of the first Mid-Nor I've painted, the Warriors of the Abyss were finished about 4 years ago. Kelzaral and Incubus Prowler and Firespitter Warriors and Master of Puppets Gargoyles

The Dirz are the second army I took over from my girlfriend and they are mostly about 5-9 years old. With them, I started to make some different bases, like the Hybrid-themed laboratory bases. Arkheon Sarnath and Thissan'Ka Sethin and Danakil Dawn Warriors Centurus Clone Hybrid and Clone Warrior Neuromancer and Danakil Skorize and Tiger Vikar and Jadharis Clone
