Here's to share my Confrontation armies with you. When I started 10 years ago, I promised myself never to play with unpainted miniatures and I stuck with this. The goal for now is a playable 400 points force for every faction. So far I have Wolfen, Daikinee, Goblins, Bran-O-Kor, Cadwallon, Acheron, Griffins, Mid-Nor, Tir-Na-Bor, Drunes, Dirz, and Sessairs. The others will follow eventually, they already got some paint. Here's the last finished army, the dwarves of Tir-Na-Bor. Magnus and Familiar Magnus and Provost Provost and Armourer Khor Warriors (the dude on the right is the one from the contest who started it all) Bombardier Son of Uren Khor Knight of Uren

I like them all I have always liked Magnus as a character mage. the steam cav were a long time in the creative pipeline of Rackham then I saw the steam cav artwork on Guiton's website and then i was disappointed that the sculpts were not as energetic as the artwork Martin

Thank you. The typical steam-gear gesture is with the left hand is quite funny (both the rider and Uren's son). For what I've seen the sculpt is not that far way from the artwork, but you're right, it could have been a bit more dynamic and with a more energetic pose or so.

Nice tirnabor! I have alot of them myself just not the nerve to paint them. I always liked the steam lists as the models looked so much better to me, maybe it was all the heavy looking armor that put it over the top or the fact they were dwarf models. Either way its nice to see them with paint. Love the pig on the back of the priest!

Thank you. I'm gonna play them again next Monday. I also needed some time to think about them, but when the Paint-a-dwarf-contest from Dragonpainting was up, I got so into them that I revisited my list and painted not only one, but the whole army.

The dwarves above. Magnus with Familiar of Earth, Warrior of the Earth, Warrior of Alphax, Crash Concentrate and a Healing Rune Provost of Uren with Protection of Uren Son of Uren Khor Knight of Uren Dwarven Armourer Dwarf Bombardier with Eye of Ley from the Armourer 3 Khor Warriors I'll deploy them next to each other. The Provost will cast his miracle on the bombardier, the knight and Uren's son, in different rounds of course. Magnus will support the Bombardier as well with Warrior of Earth and will cast Warrior of Alphax on the knight and Uren's son. The Khors are support and for temporary faith. It's basically to wait for the enemy (or to rush in with the two fast guys) and pimp the units until the enemy is close.

I procrastinated a bit, at least concerning the project with the last five armies. But some more miniatures are finished, especially because I want to use them in our ongoing DoW-campaign, but I like to play Acheron at the moment anyhow. Wolfenzombie Ghoul and Spectre Morbid Puppets. The tombstone says "get a life", inspired by Adventure Time.

It's nice to see some morbid puppets lording it up over their poorly sculpted GW brothers/sisters

I haven't been idle during the summer break and finished the following: Cynwall As the Cynwall nation is build on the ruins of an older civilization, the Utopia of Sphinx, I chose a mix of mountain and ruins for the bases. Maelyn Asadar Azur Hunters Khidarym Nova Devourer The bases should have some forest-like aspect, and as a contrast for the shiny moon-armour I went for a fallen leaves theme and used tea herbs for that. And they smell so nice. Zeiren Blood Warriors Fangs Hunter Flesh-Eater Tyrant

Nice stuff! The Devourers can now kill the foe and season them too!
